Winter and early spring 2008

We had a great new year with good snow and a couple new years flights.

Katia's skiing came along just fantastic. She started off on the magic carpet to the Panorama platter. At the beginning she was skiing with a harness and 6 weeks later the harness came off and she progressed very fast. Now she is skiing the chair lift runs' between trees and even starts to carve. Erik is already skiing on the harness as well. But he is done after about 3 runs and then likes to play in the snow. Overall the winter was great and we just had a couple minor colds. Exept Erik got once a servere cold. We ended up a couple of times in the hospital as it turned out he had kroup.

Easter we had our Panorama fly meet with lots of flights and a lot of skiing. The kids had a great time with helping at the landing site' crafts and the easter egg hunt. Easter Sunday evening we had a another Easter egg hunt with a great dinner at Frank's place.

Penny has been very busy with her normal schedule and all the studying for her CanFit Pro Personal Trainer Certificate. She aced the theory and practical exams. Way to go Penny, we are very proud of you. Because of the exams and courses we spend quite some time in Calgary and Katia and Erik had lots of fun times with Penny's parents. Now we are getting ready for spring and the Canoe and Kayak rental business.
